Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the mission of the
group?
A: To provide a dynamic, yet structured networking environment in which
professional women share resources and make positive connections.
Q: What are the benefits of
membership?
A: We are glad you asked! For a start-up group, we have some pretty
amazing benefits available, including:
ONLINE DIRECTORY - Each approved member is immediately added to our
roster on this site, receiving instant promotion on the world wide web,
available to all site visitors. The listing includes contact
information, a live web site link and a brief paragraph describing her
products and/or services! This benefit alone pays for the minimal
membership dues.
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES - The monthly dinner meetings are our key
event, offering structured yet comfortable professional networking. We
may offer occasional special events, particularly when one of our
members is holding a seminar, exhibit, etc.
Q: What is the dues
structure?
A: Another excellent question! New members are asked to submit dues with
their applications.
Q: Can I bring marketing
materials to meetings?
A: YES!! Absolutely! Share your products and services during the open
networking exchange portion of the meeting. Feel free to bring plenty of
business cards, brochures, even gift bags or samples. (Please do not
pass materials during the one-minute forum or time management can become
an issue.)
Q: Help me understand the
heart of this group.
A: What WE are about:

Q: How can I join?
A: Membership is by member-invitation only. Applications submitted with
a sponsor, appropriate dues and two member referrals are reviewed and
voted upon by the Charter Members. A vote of acceptance must be
unanimous. Criteria include that the applicant be an independent
professional or a key member of her business or organization. She should
be confident in who she is and where she is going, and comfortable
sharing resources and collaborating with others. The answer to: “Does
she have an entrepreneurial spirit?” must be: “YES!”
